名媛蔡天鳳遭前夫一家殺害分屍，其遺體頭顱至前日(26日)始被尋回。今晨(28日)約9時，死者丈夫首度現身，並與死者父母、岳父母及多名親友，在調查人員陪同下，抵達富山公眾殮房進行相關手續。
期間一眾親友神情悲痛，至約11時許，完成手續後，默言無語乘坐私家車離開，分批返回大埔龍尾村村屋現場，進行祭祀招魂儀式。法師帶同招魂工具及紙紮人偶，連同親友帶備祭品，正在場設壇準備儀式。
