藝人周海媚早前接受媒體訪問，笑談拍攝劇集《倚天屠龍記》由廿年前飾演周芷若，到現在飾演「滅絕師太」，當然各方面都成熟不少，亦覺得時間過得很快。談到婚姻話題，她耍手擰頭指自己不喜歡受到婚姻束縛：「如果連出街都要畀人管住着乜嘢衫，我唔可以，我喜歡自由。」
至於曾有指她因血小板過低以致「不育」，她承認自己血小板低，生育確有大量出血的危險，而她每次拍拖都會同男友說清楚：「我會同對方講，我生育會有生命危險或者唔能夠生（BB），若果接受唔到就只好分開。」
