佐敦「受限區域」自昨日（23日）起封鎖超過一日，港府跨部門動員3,000人協助佐敦「受限區域」行動，其中紀律部隊派出逾千人協助，包括警方出動300個警力進駐，警務處副處長(行動)蕭澤頤今早（24日）到場視察，鼓勵及支持同袍，並巡視警力及圍封情況。
據了解，警方所動員約300多名人員，主要負責外圍封鎖及交通改道安排。其中油尖區有10名少數族裔警務人員亦有份協助此行動，當中包括一名督察、六名警員及三名輔警，會協助與區內少數族裔居民溝通。
