警方原定今午(4日)舉行記者會，惟因席間有6名記者戴上貼有標語的頭盔抗議警方濫用暴力，出席的警方高層隨即離場。警察公共關係科警司高振邦稱是「明顯的抗議行動」，要求該6名記者離開，惟6人未有理會，記者會宣布暫停，氣氛僵持。由於涉事記者拒絕離開，警方約半個小時後宣布取消記者會。6名記者分別來自明報、立場新聞、香港電台、端傳媒、香港獨立媒體和AM730。
