第13宗個案涉39歲男病人，其母親之前伊院留醫，現已轉送瑪嘉烈醫院。
武漢肺炎肆虐，衞生防護中心傳染病處主任張竹君今午(2日)在記者會上交代感染個案最新情況時，透露今日或新增一宗確診個案，是日前公布第13宗個案即39歲男子，其母親的初步化驗結果亦呈陽性反應，或成香港第15宗確診病例，她已由伊利沙伯醫院轉送瑪嘉烈醫院。張其後又透露，現有1宗懷疑個案正等待複檢中，若結果為陽性，即香港將有第16宗確診病例。
防護中心早前公布，第13宗個案涉及的39歲男病人居於紅磡黃埔花園11期1座，有長期病患。
